Locating rest in the busy street. (Part 1)

Life in itself brings pursuits in diverse forms to individuals. And each pursuits comes with expectations to the end that success is attained to its brim.

Just as it is that, plants are birthed from a root, So also is the decision of becoming great. They are sourced differently either from homes, situations, or nature but each source finds its route to becoming in the general field of establishment which is the world.

I was brought up in the northeast of Lagos, Ikorodu, and was privileged to see the struggles of people and how they cherished anything profitable regardless of its worth.

Truth be told, I had words to say but, I had them zipped with the saying of a few that ‘I know where I hail from, therefore, I should not produce less’

The growing child that I was had just a little understanding of the statement but got it amplified in an imagination of, a woman having to leave her father’s house who was of a low class to knit with a man to have a home raised and cater to her father’s complete need.

Remember, the Father had little and her movement to the husband’s home was from an expectation that she was to feed her father and raise her new family. But, what about in a case where it wasn’t just her father but also her mother, sisters, and brothers? And then, it becomes a story of her arms widened because it is just no one’s fault.

My imagination you would say was of one but this applies to everyone although differently.

In the case where we all have our expectations and drive toward success. In the case where we have so many things to catch up with in a stipulated period. In numerous cases where there has to be a lot of pressure for an output.
