Fulfillment in its neutral term seems pleasant to the ears, but the unveiling of its full form comes with intentional actions and thorough refinement.
In one of my write-ups titled ‘The process that circulates’ I mentioned how every individual would go through processes but in different ways and this is so because our discipline differs.
But in the aspect of fulfillment, the discipline that differs is our reasons for existence, and they can be found in the various spheres of life that include, Family, art and entertainment, ministry, fashion, politics, education, businesses, and technology. All of these spheres create an expectation for everyone to occupy and dwell.
Fulfillment is never-ending and in the continuation of its analysis, I would like us to take a ride into:
The tale of Ella and Edith.
In the land of Akre, there lived a household called the Swiss, they were a family of four which consisted of, Mr Swiss (the father), Mrs Swiss (the mother) Miss Ella, and Edith Swiss (the children).
The girls had all they wanted in their parents’ bosom.
They attended the same schools, they were known for modesty in their society, and people could hardly differentiate their attributes. These sisters grew up engaging in similar activities until one day when they had a picnic to hold at separate venues. It was a feast organized by several schools in the society and based on the objective of the meeting, there had to be a mingling of the unknown and the known. It was an important program that had to be attended, so the girls had no option but to attend.
When they got there, they were kept in different areas. Edith was in her new world and so was Ella. Various activities started in the venue and the girls were getting along separately.
And in the middle of this restful activity, an elegant woman called Mrs Eze arrived. She’s the self-discovery coach, and she was invited to enlighten the students regarding self-discovery. The lecture was to be done in a general class, and for this reason, everyone was ordered to sit together, and the biggest hall in the venue was used for the progress of the event.
Mrs. Eze was greatly welcomed by the students, she did justice to the questions in the hearts of all.
And, in the middle of the discussion, Edith picked her pen, tore a note, and wrote out a question that said, “Ma, my sister and I were always into everything right from the time. She loved anything about fashion, especially modest fashion, and I also followed her choice because she’s my sister and I wouldn’t want to do anything without her. I liked fashion, but I realized that I am always very creative with business ideas, managing money, and managing businesses, and occasionally, I draft business plans in my notepad. A few months ago, I shared one of the business plans with my sister, and we are currently building our fashion home with the plan. My mum noticed and asked me keenly if I thought fashion was the way for me. And I answered yes because it’s the way for my sister and should be a way for me. She sighed and walked away. Today in the meeting, I was able to listen to all your teachings on self-discovery, I then realized how much I would want to go fully into the business world and my questions are, “What do I do? How do I submit my totality to the path which I have found?”
Then, she dropped the note and sighed.
Mrs Eze on the other hand was attending to several questions and when she got Edith’s sheet, she smiled and gave the response “Oh how I love this question!”
She then proceeds by saying that ‘this was going to be the last question for the day because it covers numerous questions.’
“I, Mrs Eze could say a lot but let the important words be said for a better explanation. So to the question my dear,
Firstly, that you are related to a person does not mean that you will be in a related profession.
The spark in you can’t be the same as the other even though all you are to do is for the world.
Focus on your traits, develop them, and allow the potential rise to be used. You can choose to remain in the fashion world and have your heart resisting what you desire. You can do this, but someday, you’ll find yourself not gaining the premium satisfaction of being you.
Your kind is needed in the business world, you do not have to be anyone else to please the world.
And I must add this, On the pathway of fulfillment, you would need to go through several cycles, some would be tough and some would be easy. Regardless of what comes, remember that you are on a journey toward fulfillment, and you should never weigh your challenges with another.
Embrace the truth that you know to Ignite the spark in you and occupy the space created for your kind.
You may not be doing excellently well now but, keep the ride on, the reality of you will produce genuine satisfaction.
Thank you,” Mrs Eze halted.
Mrs. Eze never knew who it was that she blessed, but Edith heard the most helpful words that built in her the courage to speak with her sister and her parents. She informed them of the path she had chosen, and she was greatly supported.
