Every organization is made up of various departments, each serving as a vital arm of the whole. Take the marketing department, for example; it is rooted in authenticity and creativity. The sales team champions honesty, service, and results, while the executive team embodies vision, accountability, and integrity.
Each department not only upholds its values but also operates by guiding principles, like leading with purpose, amplifying the customer’s voice, and building with users in mind. To the departments, these values aren’t just goals, they are lived every day. Such that when people hear ‘the marketing department,’ they instantly know who goes by the title either inside and outside the company. Their identity rings true!
This rhythm is also applicable to every well-functioning department within the organization; Their names, when mentioned, ring with a melody instantly and with the recognition of what they represent.
Even though each department has its own focus, strengths, and way of working, they still end up working toward the same goal.
It may seem like there are many voices and different rhythms, but in the end, those differences come together to support one shared mission.
And with humanity, this same harmony unfolds.
The world is a grand spectacle and it takes not just “one” but “all” to positively make an impact. Yet for our collective beauty to shine, each of us must know who we are, anchored in “purpose – unwavering” true to our values, and steadfast in our principles.
To touch lives and move hearts, the current must first flow from within. That is, from the strength of knowing our values and standing tall in that truth, unapologetically and unashamedly.
